The flower that turns toward the sun. A fragrance of almond and vanilla, powdery, dreamlike, that smells of childhood and white dresses.
Heliotrope — from the Greek helios and tropos — is one of perfumery’s most endearing notes. Its natural fragrance blends almond, vanilla and black cherry. In 1886, Oriza dedicated a full composition to it, originally named “Héliotrope Blanc.” As a soap, the opening combines heliotrope, violet leaf and orange blossom. The heart reveals almond and iris. The base of musks, benzoin and tonka bean evokes the famous English cherry pies. A deeply feminine soap, of vintage grace.
